Technololgy Now

           Technology has affected us a lot. It is one of the things we use daily in our lives. A better question would be when dont we use technology. People use it in jobs, kids use it in school, and even at home we are always using technology. We use things like computers, cell phones, and I pods to ethier makes things easier for us or to just enterain us. I think technology helps us learn better because it makes it fun and makes it easier for us to learn. Although technology sounds good there are ways it can be bad too. People are using technology so much and kids are getting addicted and then kids dont think about learning and they just think about having fun. Another reason why technology can be bad is because technology "rots the brain", meaning instead of making kids smarter they stay the same or even get dummer.  Technology can be good and bad, it just depends on how you use it.

Welcome Ms.Caroll

           Welcome to our class in Herbert Hoover middle school Ms.Caroll. My name is Cesare, pronounced with a ch. I came from Lindeneau elementry school. What I like about middle school is the fact that we have lockers and we switch classes instead of just sitting in one boring classroom the whole day. I dont like writing essays or stories in english so I am not good at them, but I do like grammer and vocab and I think that is easy. Out of school I like playing video games, riding my bike, and just hanging out with my friends. I would describe my self as hard working and inteligent. I think you will find our class very funny, but also hard working.  The structure of our day is when we come in to class we have a grammer sheet to take and after that we do what we would currently be working on. We have tests on every other friday. The way we do our tests are a bit more fun than just having a quiz on paper. We get little keyboards that connect to the smart board so we give our answers from that. An activity I find fun is when we play a game to study for tests and the winner of the game gets five extra points on their test. I hope you enjoy being with our English class.

My Career Goals

           It is important to set career goals for the future so that you can start working on your future. What I want to be when I grow up is a graphic designer. I would want to be a motion picture graphic designer. I would want to be that because I like drawing and I have always wanted a job were I would be able to draw things that would be shown on tv. Also I am good at drawing so this would be a perfect job for me. My goals for becoming this is to stay in art class through middle school and high school so that I can improve my skills in art and my creativity. Another goal is to go to a good college and study arts so I will be all prepared for becoming a graphic designer. To become a graphic designer I will need a lot of creativity and a keen eye, and career goals will help me achieve that.

My New Years resolution

Each year people make new years resolutions to improve their life. This year my new years resolution is to stop procrastinating on projects. Every time I get a project assigned I wait until the last minute to do it. Every time I do that it always results in me messing up or forgetting to put something in. A way I can fix this is by starting my projects early and not waiting until the last minute to do them.
