Ad campaign

            I have seen many ads during 2011. My favorite one was during the superbowl and it was a commercial advertising a car from the company Volkswagen. A kid in a Darth Vader costume was trying to make things turn on and move by raising his hands like they do in the movie. Everytime he tries he fails and gets said. His dad gets home and the kid tries it on his car, which is from Volkswagen, and it turns on. It was really his dad using the keys to turn on the car so he would be happy. I thought this was funny because of the ending. They showed the car in a fnny way to advertise it. One thing I didnt like is that they did not advertise the car too much and it wouldnt hook people much if they dont know about it. This was though a pretty fun commercial.

The Career Unit

           The career unit was a lot of work and a lot of different things to learn. Not to mention that we had to write a lot of papers and fill out tons of research papers. We learned many things during this unit. I learned that when you grow up and go to college and get a job it isnt easy. To go to college you need a letter of recommendation and it can also be kind of tricky to pick a college that is right for you. When in college you have many responsibilities and it is up to you to make your years at college successful. When you are getting a job you will need a resume and you should be prepared to answer question about yourself and the job you are applying for. I have learned and experienced what it is like to go on a job interview and let me tell you, it isnt fun. Even though the career unit was a lot of work I still have learned some useful information about going into college and applying for a job.

Personal Essay

I have read many books and learned about different characters. One character I admire is Percy Jackson from the Percy Jackson series. He is what I would like to be when I grow up and   is the perfect role model for me.  Percy Jackson shows courage, he never gives up, and more. I wish to be like him because if I want to be successful in my job I will have to act like him.

          Percy Jackson is always willing to do anything do get the job done. He can also be considered brave for what he does. I would also like to be willing to do anything to get the job done to help the company. He is also never gives up and that is one you need to lead your team to victory or in my case lead myself or my company to being successful. He also amazes me because he is very courage’s and smart. He always knows what he is doing and can do what he is told with no problems. I admire that he can do this and wish to be like that if I want to be successful.

          Another attribute he holds that I admire him for is how he leads a team. His friends and him face many difficulties in their life and Percy is always helping them get through it. I like this because he is always respectful and is helping his friends out to accomplish a goal or task they need to do and that is just what I want to be like.

          There are many different ways to describe Percy Jackson and they are always positive because I know Percy is always there for his friends and he is very responsible. If I could choose anyone it would definitely be Percy Jackson because he is the perfect role model for me.
