In his vignette," Baseball", he states, "As the ball rolled through the grass, it picked up pollen, which got on my hands when I picked it up, which got in my eyes when I touched them, which made them start to itch."I liked this because he goes through the steps on how the pollen gets into his eyes instead of just saying I got pollen in my eyes and it itched. He also used great detail to explain the process.
In his vignette," Last Kiss", he states "Fireflies were out, floating on the evening breeze. They made me think of jellyfish dad and I saw one night about a year before when we were at a dock at the beach. I noticed lights flickering in the dark water and was amazed to find out that they were living animals." I like how Ralph Fletcher relates the flickering light on a firefly to the flickering light on a jellyfish he saw one night. I also like how he described the time he he saw the jellyfish and how he wrote dark water instead of just water.
Silas Cesare, you did a great job on last week's assignment. You did an excellent job of describing why you liked these sentences. One way you could improve this piece is by indenting. Overall, you did an excellent job.
